We’re looking for an Android Developer who will help create the best UI in the world for our android platform. We ask that you have:

• At least two years of experience writing code in a professional software development environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop interesting UI - not just custom views, but the entire look and feel of the device
• Demonstrated ability to develop interesting animation and supporting gestures
• Prior experience in Android-Cloud development/integration
• Knowledge of NDK & performance based design (by now, we think you know the SDK inside out!)
• Exposure to usability testing and heuristic evaluation
• Willingness to travel and interact with clients

The primary responsibility for this position is to write code for UI that helps first time technology users to get the most out of their android devices with very little training. You will have to translate vague qualitative client feedback into intuitive interfaces and then do the field tests to validate them. We develop our products quickly and iteratively with our clients. In addition, you will have to set development goals and schedules, while also balancing short- and long-term technology goals.
